server room beanie
mmmm.... my finger tastes gooood.
most of the stuff i have knitted was for myself. but knitting for one's self is selfish. so when marco asked me to knit him a hat to wear at his company's colo (where the servers are kept in an air conditioned warehouse), i thought it would be an opportunity to make him something with love and dedication. so here it is, the server room beanie. it's not so pretty when i started to decrease it on top, but it looks ok from the front.
happily, our marriage makes us exempt from the Knitting Curse, which states that if a knitter starts making a knitted item for their girlfriend/boyfriend (non-spousal entity), a breakup will soon befall them. ooooweeeeeooooo (*spooky sound here)

I thought that curse only applied to sweaters because they take so long and are destined to be un-appreciated ;)
yeah i thought so too, but i've heard horror stories about people knitting dumb little things and it still broke them up. oh well. hope i never find out!
