you guys would never believe

that some guy actually had the nerve to break through my father's car window WHILE WE WERE IN THE CAR and steal my purse. my lovely camera and a brand new mp3 player were in there and that pissed me off to no end. but i'm ok (some cuts from the glass but no biggie) and everyone in the car was ok so that's good. needless to say it kinda ruined the next couple of days for me but i'm ok now, i'm just glad to be leaving on sunday.

on the bright side, this little incident has inspired me to invent some new clothing stuffs where you can hide your money, camera, etc. all over your body and no one will be able to see a thing of what you're wearing. let's see how that turns out.

second degree burn

today we went to take our luggage from my aunt's house to the hotel and as i was taking out my bag from the trunk, i managed to put my leg against the car's exhaust pipe and get a second degree burn. it hurt like hell. however, i did go shopping with my mom so that helped the pain A LOT. we got cute stuff but not as cheap as i thought we would be getting-- i guess inflation finally got the better of peru!

on that burn note, i found this weird story about this girl who's butt got a second degree burn just from carrying her cell phone in her back pocket.

ps: i wanted to have pictures to show today but sadly, i forgot my usb cord. so it'll have to wait till i get back

after everything i finally got to peru. so today is my first (albeit) uneventful day. if any of you want a little something from down here, its time to email me!!! today i had a manicure and pedicure and that's about it for the peruvian experience so far.

my hero from spiderman

there's this guy, rob, who is my halloween-loving hero. he makes the coolest costumes by himself. this last year's (2004) is one that i told marco (way back in mid 2004) he should be. we had this idea that we would make this doc oct costume actually move its tentacles and have a drink. unfortunately, marco said he was to busy and ended up with a store-bought costume instead. rob read my mind and made the doc oct costume but added an interesting touch i didn't think of -- spidey.
