some swap stuff i made

a few of my swap partners have received today, so for you, my loving audience, i give you the bulk of my last two crafting weeks!

for sewpixie, who made me a hoodie in exchange. i made her then a one-skein wonder, a needle-felted pin, and a couple of mice for her kitties!

for bigmouth, i was to send some pins. i thought i'd add some jewelry to the mix; after making the kanzashi pin and the needle-felted cherry blossom, i made two more bracelets (and gave her a third modified one) and a ribbon necklace (actually there were two ribbon necklaces i gave her, i just had only made one of them).

I love your pink flower needle felted pins and those mice are too too cute. (fun color choices)

About your different dyelot Clapotis issues, maybe it's just me, but I don't mind different dye-lots on (most) projects. Makes it kind of artistic, imo, esp. if it just looks like a sunlight change. I once deliberately bought different dye-lotted skeins of a beige color so my bedspread would look worn/antiquey/aged.
On the other hand, the Clapotis is a big project, so I'd say you have to do what will make you happiest, even if that means frogging and starting over. I love my Clapotis, though, so I hope that whatever you do, that you do finish one!
Oh, just had another thought (is this the world's longest comment yet?) Could you use a solid coordinating color to finish your Clapotis? Or black? Make it look like a design decision?
How far along are you on this thing, anyway? Are you WPF? (way past frogging) :)

thanks for the nice compliments!

my clappy is in fact WPF, as i was on the decreasing rows. the dye lot is so radically different that i've started alternating rows, using the last of the first dye lot for five rows then switching off. so far so good! we'll see though :) hopefully i won't need a whole lot more yarn!

Alternating is a brilliant idea, I didn't even think of that! :)
The decrease rows, wow ~ you're almost there! Can't wait to see it!
