although i loved the way the entrelac came out on my winnie cooper, i didn't really like those ends. i saw a lot of people putting fringe on theirs but i thought i wanted something to cover up my non-blocked ends (and i don't want to block this scarf 'cause i like the puffiness of the entrelac). and i just recently bought some pom makers (super cool ones by clover that make the boring task of making pon poms so much faster and pretty even) so i pommed it! it kinda takes the sophistication edge off the scarf (which i'm not sure if i like or not) but i can always take them off if i change my mind.

You are an awesome knitter. You always take a semi mediocire pattern and make it really cool. Good work on your Danica.
I love the poms! And I'm happy to read such a positive review of the new Clover pom makers... I've been eyeing them but was unsure about buying them.
I love your scarf! I think the poms look cool too. Thanks for the comment on the baby jeans. You must make them too. I got to see them on the baby last Sunday. She looked so freaking cute! It's a really easy pattern too. I got most of the knitting done over a weekend.
The colors you've chosen are great -- love the red pop of color. I also like Winnie Cooper name better than Danica! :) Btw- thanks for visiting my blog.
hi, just real quick, i think its rude to rename a pattern. Think about it, i wouldn't like someone to name something i'd created as their own. just my 2 cents.
thanks for your comment "anonymous" but i don't really think i did rename the pattern. i never said it wasn't a danica, i just gave my particular one a name. additionally, i added to the pattern, too, so why not rename mine?
i don't mean to sound snarky, but my 2 cents is that leaving anonymous comments on people's blogs is sort of rude.
