Pink Sunflower Seed Cupcakes

ok so i'm not the best at naming my cupcakes... i admit it. it is a rather lame name for such pretty cupcakes, if i do say so myself. i was having a rough day on wednesday and all i could bring myself to do was bake, so bake i did -- mia even helped stir the batter :) the pink frosting is strawberry and actually very yummy and the little flowers are all made out of chocolate covered sunflower seeds... hence "pink sunflower seed cupcakes." yeah, i know... i gotta come up with better names...

when i was very little, around mia's age, there was this one song that used to make me tear up and cry every time i heard it. very recently, i found out mia also has a song that makes her cry... this one :(

little pink turtle

just a little pink turtle to remind me how to craft. a little present for my friend nana, who is leaving for taiwan tomorrow forever :( my other friend blue, who ruthlessly left for taiwan a few months ago, got one too, but unfortunately, i did not get a picture of it :( WE MISS YOU BLUE!!! and we will miss nana too :(
